There's so much going on I thought I'd drop a quick mid-week note so I can catch up with the never ending news coming from Evernote and Bending Spoons.
Nice release this one. Why do they only mention the fixes on the Release Notes page?
I like the Slash command, especially the fact that you can type /att or /goo etc - guess that's part of Frederico's desire not to have to take your hands off the keyboard and use a mouse 😄 The Calendar view from the sidebar is a nice addition as well - hope they can work on a way (a) to do a 2-way sync with your calendar of choice,, and (b) display your dated tasks on the calendar.
When I looked at the website diwnload/release notes pages earlier today and found 10.79.2 there was only the fixes listed; since then the feature details have been added. Guess I was just too hasty 🤣 And yes, I've seen Vlad's video now - that all seems very promising 😁
Your enthusiasm is helpful and I recently returned to the Home page to start my day. I truly like adding notes to my Google calendar which appears on the Home page. The new display looks cleaner and enhances my use of Evernote.

I've got new releases on my release notes from the Help menu:
New features:
Slash commands: press "/" in a new line to insert elements like tasks, tables, links, attachments
Calendar section: access a full-screen calendar view from the sidebar
Outlook calendar: you can finally connect your Microsoft Outlook calendar account to Evernote
The / commands are great. I'm using /att a lot and its sped up adding files. Really hoping for more from the calendar. Did you watch Vlad's video?

“A New New Note Button” hallelujah!

Excellent. When the calendar launched I didn't think I'd use it but find it really useful. Such an easy way to link notes to events.
