AMA 12: What does hardware acceleration in Evernote do & are tasks going to get an update

In last week’s Taming the Trunk you mentioned that the hardware acceleration button is back. What exactly does it do?

William asks:

Any talk of adding formatting and links to Tasks? I would love to use bolding to quickly see the gist of a task and links to quickly act on the task. For example, a link to the article I want to read or the venue where I want to buy tickets. Or even a link to the note that the task relates to, which would be quicker than the current three-clicks needed on mobile.
