Could you demonstrate how Table of Contents work? Especially the recent change where they now update live when you change headers, etc. Thanks 👍🏻

I would love to be able to click on a saved-search embedded in a note rather than having to leave my note and look for the pertinent saved-search elsewhere. For example, in a note dedicated to a particular client, I could click on a saved search that would give me all other notes referencing that client. Or in a note on a particular topic (e g., the Civil War), I could click on a saved-search for all notes referencing the Civil War. Any talk of providing that ability? Any obvious reason it would be difficult to implement? Any clever work-arounds until my wish is granted? Would many others find that ability useful?

The app Obsidian has implemented something like you're describing here through its system of links, backlinks, linked mentions, and unlinked mentions. It's a very clever system for identifying obvious (and not-so-obvious) connections between notes. I'd love to see Evernote develop its internal linking system into something similar.

I must admit I was a little surprised when the EN folk started introducing all the different ways to internally link. Their user research must've flagged something.

I've started using internal links a lot more myself, not sure if they will get to a full Zettelkasten system but a decent Wiki style system would be good to see.

Speaking of linking, do you know why Bending Spoons discarded the distinction between green links for internal connections and blue links for external? It seemed like a nice visual cue.

I don't know. Its been mentioned a few times and I'd like to see it come back. A nice visual for where a link goes. I'll mention it again.

Yup. I've heard this a couple of times. There must be some sort of link to the search created as it can appear in the shortcut menu as a link. I'll mention it in one of the calls.
