This week on Ask Me Anything about Evernote we have questions from Pauk and Celine.
If you have a question you’d love an answer to then leave it in the comments below and I’ll add it to the list.
Paul asks:
Could you demonstrate how Table of Contents work? Especially the recent change where they now update live when you change headers, etc. Thanks 👍🏻
Celine asks:
What can be done to improve Evernote performance, both on Windows PC & iOS / Mobile?
My Evernote database is around 12-14 GB, and I have been unhappy with the apps' performance for quite some time.
Few thoughts / questions. with the goal in mind of improving performance:
1. Is it advisable to empty the trash / permanently delete notes in the trash?
2. You seem to mention "archiving" a lot; if you archive / export a folder out of Evernote, that simply makes a copy / backup of it, correct? You must then manually & specifically delete / purge / remove the folder from Evernote, correct?
3. If I simply go through my Evernote, delete old / unused notes (that jar of screws...!); they go to the trash; should I also permanently delete them from the trash?
Would love to hear any other thoughts or ideas you have.
Thanks for watching. Leave your questions in the comments below and if you found this useful and have it in your pocket to offer some support you can tip me a coffee here.
All the best
Jon
