And my shopping list in a Notebook of list - but it and a couple of others are in the Shortcuts list - so accessible regardless of when I touched it last.
Works a treat... top half of the list is all the standard regular buys - including veg - then a split and a variable list for that visit. Anything in the regular that can be skipped is already ticked off. Once back home - I just untick it all - and delete the items below the split... thought about having a template - but decided I didn't need the list to be the basis of shopping history... so kept it simple.
Erm, lets say android is generally more open to such things :)
Was looking for some workarounds. On iOS there are now widgets. These are available on the Home Screen. Alternatively you can put a widget also near your apps (like on android). On the Home screen you can link to "Recent Notes", which could be your shopping list before going shopping.
Or you can put a widget near your Apps to access your shortcuts; which in this case you can put your Shopping List (in this case).

I like that. All for keeping things simple.
Hi Jon,
A small note on the "Add note to device homescreen" option. Unfortunately its not yet on iOS (I'm currently on Professional).
Thanks for your articles as always!
I'm on Personal & just made sure I was on the latest iOS version.
Really enjoying the TTT content!
FYI, Add to device Home Screen is not available on the normal paid version.
I use Our Groceries for my multiple shopping lists but could see how using Evernote would be practical if I was only managing one list.
Thanks for the article!
Hi Andrew, If you are on iOS probably its not there yet :)
Is add to home screen a thing in iOS world generally? Most Android apps tend to offer it.

Hope it helps :)
It does thanks.
Thanks. I'm on Professional and can see it. Are you Personal or free?
I thought this was for all plans to be fair! I'll check as I can't see it on the EN comparison.
"For anyone moaning that there are no vegetables on my list, I get a veg box delivered each week so I don’t need to shop for these!"
Oh dear, hadn't figured you for being scared of the Veggies and their woke propaganda. : )))))
