Newsletter Housekeeping: Evernote version 10.59.5 is out for PCs and Macs and you can now move the location of your Evernote data to another hard drive.
I always assumed my PC synced all the notes. With the real-time editing resyncing I'm realizing I don't have all notes local.
If this true, then an external backup is not a complete backup.
Other than touching every note is there a way to get a complete copy of the database? Is there a DB export option on the web version? I haven't checked.
As far as I know the copy on whatever device should be up to date once sync'd. I wouldn't treat this as a backup though. The web version should be the master copy but again once things have sync'd.
There's no export on web but you can on the PC/Mac. Otherwise if you're as bit technical then there's a decent GitHub project that a lot of folkshave had success with.
