@Jon – re Managing Tasks in Evernote – I think I have a similar workflow to yours as outlined. I don’t have the luxury of dual monitors, but am experimenting with Windows Virtual desktops to allow me to switch between content as required. When tasks were introduced, I didn’t think I’d make much use of them, but they have become an intrinsic part of my system. I agree with your thinking of around 6-10 tasks per day as being manageable. Some days there may be more, but that’s often when several tasks relate to the same project.

Like you I may have both large and small “projects”, the small ones may only require a single note and the larger ones their own notebook containing multiple notes. What I’ve tended to do is to document the various activities in a checkbox list within a note, but when I determine that one or more of these activities should happen around a specific date, I convert the check box activity/activities to Evernote tasks so that they appear in my task view. I like the ability to switch the task view from “Today” to “Notebooks” to get things in the right context at the right time

I think the combination of tasks and checkboxes using them in a similar way to sub-tasks. Not sure if I'd want sub tasks in EN, not sure if its needed.

On a separate note, are you all receiving emails forwarded to EN with your personalized EN email address? This was working fine, but I’ve noticed last evening that emails I sent to EN yesterday were not received, though one of them finally came through but I’m still missing four or five more.

Not noticed any issues. I had some train tickets arrive OK yesterday and a couple of invoices today. I think they get queued so may still arrive but I would throw in a support ticket to let them know.

I’ve had temporary outages previously, but this time it’s been close to 24 hours and only one out of four or five emails have made it to my Evernote account.

Send in a support ticket. If you can give them times they were sent they should be able to look back at the logs. Let me know a ticket number and I'll see if anyone can take a look.

I did open a Support ticket, but I did not think of sending them the times the messages were sent. But I have not heard back from them and who knows how long it’s gonna take them to get to my ticket. Thanks again for your feedback.

Like Jon, I've not noticed any issues with forwarding emails from my accounts to my Evernote account to create notes in my inbox. My impression is that it can be issues with your sending email service. There might be issues where the email contains large amounts of text and attachments?

Thanks. The emails I sent are in my sent outbox, so I do not see how they may be stuck going out unless they’re caught in some queue on the mail server.

Hey Jon, slightly off topic, but have you found a way to change the default daily note template to use? I'd like to use agenda, but accidentally clicked journal, which I have no use for (at least their version). Thanks.

On mobile it's under Settibgs -> Daily Note where you can switch the feature on/off and choose from the 3 note templates

Thank you. I found it, but only on the web browser version, under settings. Don't see it on either desktop (10.98.3) or iOS (10.98.1).

Hmm... seems to take a while for things to get in line across all platforms. At the moment I've only got it on my Android phone (v10.98.0), not got the feature on my Wibdows desktop (v10.98.3) yet
