Thanks Jon! This helped me wrap my head around the new Sharing options. I noticed when using the advanced search sharedate:*, I have many notes that have been "shared by me" that are no longer necessary to remain shared. Some of these also were used as links for myself at some point that I no longer need to access, and don't have any others granted permission. Is there a way to Revoke/Remove shared status so they no longer how up in this list of all the notes I've shared? I've been struggling to figure out how to do this...
Thanks again. Appreciate your insight and expertise!
Thanks. If you go to the note you don't want to share anymore and click the Share button at the top right you should be able to set the permissions as restricted or remove people from private sharing. Let me know if it works.
Thanks for this. Tried it out, and interestingly it works on some notes, removes them from the sharedate:* listing, but on others, they mysteriously still appear in this list. No blue globe, no green "People With Access" marker. Under the Share button, I am the owner and only person with access for this Restricted note. I quit the application and relaunched it, still there. Not sure of any reason why it would still be listed.
Thanks for further clarification on the new Sharing process. I've now been able to use it successfully to share a note to a non-EN user and give them edit ability. The link I sent via email has opened up in their browser displaying the note in question with the mini-editor toolbar. Good stuff!
I think what may have been confusing me (and possibly others) is that when you click on the Share button and get the Share dialog pop-up, you immediately see a box for an email address, so I initially entered the email of my non-EN user colleague - as a result they got a nicely formatted email from EN asking them to log in to their email account...
Perhaps it might be more clearer if the email address box saud "Add name or email OF EVERNOTE USER"? and mayve the dialog had some text to say "Use Copy link to share with non-Evernote yser"?

That's a bug which they're working on. It sometimes take a while for sharing or no-sharing to reflect in the UI. They know about this one.

Agree. There's been a bit of confusion around it and I'm hoping they change some of the language used. Same for spaces as well.
